COURSE OUTLINE

The PRE SEA TRAINING Course was introduced on request from the Shipping Industry, in order to ensure enhanced & multiple utility of ratings, on board vessels belonging to shipping companies, worldwide. Accordingly, the erstwhile Deck Rating and Engine Rating courses were adapted to the new guidelines and concept of “SDP” was introduced by the Directorate. CERTIFICATE AWARDED

After successful completion of the training, the candidate will be issued a certificate of competence as a cook in Merchant Navy and STCW Course certificate will be of Shipping govt. of India. In Addition to that candidate will be awarded INDOS & CDC (Continuous Discharge Certificate)

ELIGIBILITY

Pass with aggregate 40% marks in 10th Standard from a recognized Board with Science, Mathematics as subjects and with minimum 40% marks in English language either in 10th, 12th or diploma / degree exam.
Medically & Physically Fit
Candidates vision should be 6/6 (normal) in each eye separately
Age 17  to 28 Years
